Inbox

The Collaboration Inbox is an electronic management overview of artifacts, i.e. tasks, messages and comments. It is designed to help users focus on the most important BPC messages in their inbox. The focus of the Inbox is specifically on planning, monitoring and controlling information flows. Users can communicate across departments and define appropriate measures to ensure data quality.

Inbox overview

Users can see their recently created artifacts in chronological order. The time period can be selected using the date field.

Entries can be made in the light grey field using the search field in the taskbar. By entering the first letters of the term, the entries that match the search term are selected at the same time.

The number of results displayed simultaneously for each artefact is shown in brackets.

Tasks

For the "Task" artefact, the tasks are sorted into the corresponding tab depending on their status.
Tasks with the status "Completed" are transferred to the "Completed" tab.
The "Own" tab is used to store the tasks that the "Addressee" (processor) has to complete.
The "Follow up" tab contains the tasks that the creator (sender) has assigned to an agent (addressee).

Messages

For the "Message" artifact, the tasks are sorted into the corresponding tab depending on their status.
Messages that are received are in the "Inbox" tab.
Messages that are sent are in the "Outbox" tab.

Comments

For the "Comment" artifact, the tasks are sorted into the corresponding tab depending on their status.
Own comments that only apply to "self" are stored in the "Own" tab.
Comments that "everyone" can view/read are recorded in the "All" tab.
