Actions for master data

There are various options for actions that can be developed and implemented for data management on a customer-specific basis.

Here are some important examples:

  • Synchronize

  • Export

  • Set data set to valid

  • Enter processes manually

Synchronize

A data set can be synchronized with a corresponding time series, for example. A time series is a sequence of data points recorded at successive points in time of equal size (e.g. every second, every day). be synchronized with a corresponding time series. A time series is a sequence of data points that is recorded at successive points in time of equal size (for example, every second, every day or every month). Time series can be used, for example, to forecast the monthly demand for a product.

Export

This action is not available by default, but can be defined via the template.

Use the export if you want to export a data set. Select the "Export" action via Settings and execute the action.

Set data set to valid

This action is used if data sets are to be separated in time. There are usually two options: Either the exact delimitation with "Valid from" and "Valid to" or the delimitation with "Valid from".

Record processes manually

If, for example, data cannot be recorded automatically, it can also be recorded manually.
