Actions for Leader Data

There are various types of actions that can be developed and implemented on a customer-specific basis for data management.

Here is a selection of some important examples:

  • Synchronize

  • Export

  • Mark a data record as valid

  • Manually enter processes

Synchronize

A data record can, for example, be synchronized with a corresponding time series. A time series is a sequence of data points recorded at successive, equally spaced time intervals (for example, every second, every day, or every month). Time series can be used, for example, to forecast the monthly demand for a product.

Export

This action is not available by default, but can be defined via the template.

Use the export function if you want to export a record. Select the "Export" action via Settings and execute the action.

Set Record to Valid

This action is used when records need to be delimited by time. There are generally two options: Either set an exact time range using “Valid from” and “Valid to,” or set a range using only “Valid from.”

Entering Processes Manually

If, for example, data cannot be entered automatically, you have the option to enter it manually.
