Overview of actions

Overview

  • You can accept a task before you actually process it. As long as you have accepted a task, it is locked and cannot be processed by others.

  • You can release tasks after you have accepted them without processing them.

  • As soon as you start processing a task, it is automatically accepted and thus locked for other users.

  • Once you have completed a task, it is automatically removed from the task list.

Actions

The following describes actions or functions that are possible for editing a task.

Open task

Click on the button to open the task and process it.

Take over/lock task

A task can be taken over by another user or locked for other users so that it cannot be edited by someone else.

Delegate task

A task can be assigned from one user to another user.

Further functions

The BPC Process Interaction module has further functions, which are described below:

Scroll page

tasklist paging

The user can scroll through the pages with a mouse click and navigate to the task they want to select. The double arrow is used to scroll to either the first or last page. The page number you are currently on is displayed in the corresponding box.

Refresh

The last processing status of the task is queried and displayed via the Refresh button.

Activate help

Supporting information is displayed by clicking on the checkbox behind Activate help.

Start ad-hoc task

A task can be started ad-hoc by selecting a task from the drop-down list and then clicking on the button with the tick.
