BPC base URL HTTPS check

The BPC base URL HTTPS check checks whether the configured BPC base URL uses the HTTPS protocol.

If external connections are routed to the BPC via a reverse proxy, the BPC cannot verify whether the connections are always encrypted. A base URL that uses HTTPS is an indicator that the connection is encrypted.

Procedure for securing

The BPC base URL can be configured in the frontend under Settings→Core*Services→General*. A URL that uses HTTPS must be entered here for the External base URL setting.

General information on configuring the accessibility of the BPC can be found at network and Reverse Proxy.
