Overview of Actions

Overview

  • You can claim a task before you actually start working on it. As long as you have claimed a task, it is locked and cannot be worked on by others.

  • You can release tasks after you have claimed them, without editing them.

  • As soon as you begin working on a task, it is automatically claimed and thus locked for other users.

  • Once you have completed a task, it is automatically removed from the task list.

Actions

The following describes the actions or functions available for editing a task.

Open Task

Clicking the button opens the task so it can be processed.

Take Over/Lock Task

A task can be taken over by another user or locked for other users so that it cannot be edited by anyone else.

Delegate Task

A task can be assigned from one user to another.

Additional Features

The BPC Process Interaction Module offers additional features, which are described below:

Scroll Through Pages

You can scroll through the pages with a mouse click to navigate to the task they wish to select. The double arrow takes you to either the first or last page. The page number you are currently on is displayed in the corresponding box.

Refresh

The Refresh button retrieves and displays the task’s latest editing status.

Enable Help

Clicking the checkbox next to "Enable Help" displays helpful information.

Start an Ad Hoc Task

You can start an ad hoc task by selecting a task from the dropdown list and then clicking the button with the checkmark.
