Update of the BPC workflows

After the update

Requirements

  • You updated the BPC with the patch installer.

  • You are logged on to the INUBIT Workbench as administrator root.

How to proceed

  1. Switch to the additional user group BusinessProcessCenter via the menu File > Switch to additional user group > BusinessProcessCenter.

  2. Import the updated BPC workflows via the Edit > Import > INUBIT Diagram(group) menu.

    1. Select the new file BusinessProcessCenter-workflow-patch-<bpc-version>.diagrams.zip from the directory <bpc-installdir>/bpc_modules.

    2. In the User/User Group section, select the BusinessProcessCenter user group.

    3. To prevent the system connector settings and variable values from being overwritten, disable the associated option.

  3. Click Finish to start the import.

    → The updated BPC workflows are added to the already existing diagrams as a new version.

  • BPC_199_BPC_Configuration: Adjust to allow BPC and INUBIT to communicate correctly with each other, see Configuring BPC Monitoring Settings in the Process Monitor User Guide.

  • BPC_299_PM_Configuration: Customize if you want to use the BPC Process Monitor module, see Configuring Grid initially.

  • BPC_399_Converter_Configuration: Customize if you want to use the BPC Converter module, see Configuring the BPC Database Connection.

  • BPC_499_VAM_Configuration: Adjust organization ID if the data management module is to be used

  • BPC_doc_Configuration: Adjust the variable mapping in the BPC_doc_initializeConfig module as described in the comments of the workflow if the BPC Documentation module is to be used.
