Patch Guide

A patch installation corresponds to an update of an existing software version due to bug fixes or feature enhancements.

The patch installer allows you to update the following applications:

    • Java Distribution (OpenJDK)

    • Identity Management (Keycloak)

  • INUBIT

    • Process Engine

    • Workbench

    • Remote connector

    • AS4 Gateway

    • CLI

    • Benchmark

    • Application server (Apache Tomcat)

    • Business Process Center

    • INUBIT BPC modules

    • Application server (Karaf)

    • Application database (Opensearch)

How to proceed

  1. Identification of the target version

    Use the changelog information to find the right target version of your application for you.

  2. Running the Standard patch steps

    These patching steps are performed during each patching process. They are documented centrally in one place and are kept up to date there.

  3. Running the Version-dependent patch steps

    These patching steps must be performed manually, some are required, some are optional. Depending on your current application version and the target version of the software to be installed, check which steps are necessary in your application scenario.
