Process actions

Process actions offer you the option of executing actions on existing processes or initiating new processes.

How do I start process actions manually?

To be able to start an action, it must be configured in the view and an entry in the table containing actions must be selected.
Depending on the configuration, process actions can be started in 3 different areas of the interface:

Start process action via the toolbar

The function icon is located in the module toolbar.

If several entries are selected, only the process action that all entries have in common can be started.

Multiple process actions

Start process action via the context menu

To do this, right-click on an entry that contains process actions. The desired action can then be executed on the selected entry. Actions in the history grid cannot be called up via the context menu.

Multiple process actions

Start process action via the button of a process action column

If such a column is set up for a view in the column configuration, a button or a drop-down menu appears for each row with all available process actions.

If no action is available, the button is displayed in gray and does not allow a click action:

No actions

Common process actions for several selected rows CANNOT be executed via this button. It always refers to only one row.

These process action buttons can also be generated in the history grid in the same way as the main monitor.
