Documents

The Documents module enables BPC users to create/upload, edit and distribute files in various formats. The maximum permitted size of the upload files can be adjusted manually.
At the same time, the stored files can be displayed or played in a viewer - the viewer adapts to the file type and offers a corresponding display. This viewer can also be used in other modules, e.g. to display attached files in the Process Monitor or Data Management.
In addition, BPC users can use the Documents module to dispense with the local unpacking of zip files, as zip files can be inspected directly in the viewer and the required file(s) can be opened or used directly.
Individual keywords, tags and Labels support the categorization, filtering and searching of files and documents.

If a relational database is used to store documents, the database user must be connected to the database connection Database connection must also have write access to the database connection.
