Blog & Journal

The Blog and Journal sections can be considered as one, since they simply offer different views for presenting topics. The Blog is available in a tabular view and provides a structured overview of key data, while the Journal focuses on presenting the content of the artifacts related to each Topic.

Topics are used to categorize the Blog and Journal. This allows users to quickly grasp the central theme. The topic is created individually and thus serves as a kind of table of contents. It is essentially the subheading of the channel, which acts as the main heading. The channel name is defined in the Forum.

Blog

A blog is a kind of diary that lists and records entries or facts. In the BPC, these are the artifacts: tasks, messages, and comments. The blog focuses on comments, which facilitate the exchange of experiences and thoughts regarding the referenced BPC process. However, tasks and messages can also be created and stored for this purpose.

Blog

The following functions are available in the blog:

  • Create, activate/deactivate, and archive topics

Journal

The journal contains current information on a specific topic. Every new task and/or message, as well as every comment, appears at the top of the chronological communication history for the selected topic.
