Workbench

General

  • The global search has been added by a search options for the following:

    • Diagram content as well as connection lines (excluding connection lines in technical workflows and BPEL diagrams)

    • Tag names

  • The navigation to the respective diagram content element based on selection of global search result is provided.

  • There is a new icon feature list 8 1 for creating a new element.

  • The INUBIT Workbench configuration dialog to change the settings has been restructured and consolidated.

  • The new shortcut [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[Right Arrow key] expands the following trees:

    • Server diagram tree

    • Server Module Editor tree

    • Modules tree in Designer Modules panel on right side.

Designer

General

  • Local (not yet published) diagrams can be renamed.

  • Tags in the workflows, modules, or repository files of a user or user group can be renamed.

  • The Bird View window position of a workflow persists when switching to another workflow.

System Diagrams

  • Processing Rules for Complex Lookup Tables can be linked to System Diagrams.

  • The connection pool settings of a Database Connector defined as external resource in a system diagram can be configured.

Technical Workflows

  • Local creation of system connectors that are not yet fully configured is possible.

  • Publishing of incompletely configured system connectors to the server is prevented.

  • A validation of System Connector configuration is provided.

  • System connector modules and Workflow Starter that are already used in a workflow can be dragged and dropped from module tree (Server/Local/Favorites) to the designer area. In this case, the module will be renamed (analog to copy-paste).

  • After renaming a module, the old name in respective workflow versions is retained.

  • Scope names can contain spaces.

  • For user-defined variables, a comment can be added.

  • In the Variables docking window on the right, there is a new column displaying the Default Value.

  • Unused variables can be determined and deleted afterwards.

Module Editor

  • Local creation of system connectors that are not yet fully configured is possible.

  • Publishing of incompletely configured system connectors to the server is prevented.

  • A validation of System Connector configuration is provided.

  • The XSLT test execution in XSLT Converter of the Module Editor or in the (XML) Editor can be canceled.

Deployment, Import, Export

  • BPM diagrams can be exported and imported as .bpmn file (BPMN 2.0 DI standard).

  • The error handling for import operations has been improved.

  • A new option for activating/deactivating when importing a workflow has been added.

  • Publishing of multiple EDI rule files at the same time to the process engine by means of a rule folder has been added.

  • When publishing rule folders to Process Engine, both valid rule files and invalid rule files are displayed.

Monitoring

  • Mail Connector certificates can be managed in Key Manager.

  • In Server Trace Log tab, a forward and backward search mechanism has been added.

  • The entire Server Trace Log file is read at once and displayed in the Workbench, improving scrolling.

  • The content of the Server Trace Log file can be directly copied or saved using the toolbar icons.

  • Selected parts of the displayed logs (Server Trace Log, Workbench Trace Log, Webservice Log) can be directly copied or saved using the toolbar icons.

Offline Modeling

  • In offline mode, you can edit local diagrams and modules. You can even create new modules and diagrams.

    Further details can be found in the customer documentation (Workbench User Guide).

  • Tabs, menu items, and buttons that cannot be used in offline mode are inactive in offline mode.

  • With a button, switching to offline mode is possible when, for example, the connection to the Process Engine gets lost or the Process Engine is down. Local modules and diagrams can be further edited.

    This is an additional option to the existing options retry action and exit Workbench.

  • In the status bar of the Workbench, the status of the Process Engine can be displayed with an icon. Displaying the status is optional and can be configured.

  • The Workbench status online/offline is displayed with the button for switching between both modes.

  • When switching back to online mode, the server data are synchronized with the Workbench.

Password Manager

  • A Password Manager has been introduced to manage credentials centrally for various system connectors. Credentials can be added, edited, deleted and searched.

    Refer to the customer documentation (Module Guide and System Connector Guide) for which system connectors this is possible.

  • The Password Manager is secured by a master password, which is to be configured in the Workbench Configuration tab.

Test Mode - Unit Tests

An option has been added to continue the workflow execution at a break point in test mode and unit tests.

User Manager

  • The permissions for users for the Designer and for the Module Editor have been extended by Create and Delete.

  • The permission CLI login access has been added. By default, this permission is activated for the System Administrator user role and deactivated for all other roles.
