Applying the License

You will receive the license via email after successfully requesting it. If the email attachment is a ZIP file, extract it. After extracting the ZIP file, the license is available as an XML file.
Applying a New License
On a new Process Engine installation, the license must be placed manually in the server file system. Only then can the Process Engine be started successfully.
Place the license.xml file in the <SUITE-INSTALL-DIR>/inubit/server/ibis_root/conf directory and then start the Process Engine; see Starting/stopping the INUBIT Process Engine
Updating an Existing License
An existing license can be updated manually in the server file system; see Installing a New License
You can also load a new license file into the INUBIT Process Engine using the INUBIT Workbench:
-
Log in to the INUBIT Workbench as a System Administrator.
-
Open the burger menu and select Configuration > Update license file….
A file explorer opens.
-
Navigate to the directory containing the newly received license file.
-
Select the file and click Open.
The new license is saved in the server directory <SUITE-INSTALL-DIR>/inubit/server/ibis_root/conf under the name license.xml.imported.
The existing license is backed up and can be restored via the Workbench.
